CATCH Showcases Achievements At Fall Recruitment Fairs

Every Fall, CATCH makes the rounds at middle schools across Los Angeles to showcase the school for prospective students and parents. This Fall, we're already off to a great start with families asking about everything from our College and Career Prep Program to our strong social media presence.

Friday was Ms. Alejandri's last day at CATCH, and she spent the day thanking students and parents for their well-wishes as she tends to her family in this time of need. CATCH is already in the process of identifying an amazing Spanish Teacher to pick up where the class left off, and Ms. Fuentes will be supporting all Spanish classes as a new teacher is brought on.

The CATCH Mac Lab

In addition to the school's one-to-one student:device program, CATCH Prep features two fully functional MAC computer labs for students to work on projects and learn multimedia platforms. Interested students are welcome to check it out and even sign up for our after-school Media class.

Take PSAT Practice Tests

Before the PSAT at CATCH Prep on October 11th, all students and families are encouraged to take practice exams and score them HERE . Similar to the prep class Dr. Arnold ran last week, these exams will provide familiarity and frequency for any student who access them before the actual test.

Every week, the CATCH FASHION BLOG highlights the influence urban youth have on everything from clothes, to language, to music, and more. This week, we look at Paris, Milan, New York, and London, and argue that everything you see on those runways was born here in South LA.

Grades are updated weekly at CATCH, and we encourage families to check our Powerschool Portal to learn about their child's academic achievement. As we prep students for life in college, knowing one's overall GPA is key.
