CATCH Welcomes James Harden To Campus!

On a visit back to his alma mater, Audubon Middle School, James Harden stopped by the CATCH Prep Campus to offer up some inspirational words to students, as well as dedicate a new gym and refurbished outdoor basketball courts to the CATCH/Audubon co-location. Mr. Pecson's Students Prep For AP Exams

Whether it be AP Psychology or AP Government, Mr. Pecson's students are getting ready for the month of May when all of their AP Exams will be administered. As Seniors, these AP students know that a score of 3 or higher will translate into University credit and count towards prerequisites to a major.

They've been competing and performing this past month, and just hit the road with two shows at Middle School Recruitment Fairs in the Los Angeles area. With all the long hours and dedicated practice time, just one smile helps keep them going.

Crosscutting Concepts In Science

Ms. Redman is a master Science teacher. In preparation for the nation's rollout of Next Generation Science Standards, she has been focusing on crosscutting concepts in Science like patterns, cause and effect, structure and function, and more to help spiral Science skills and content into a meaningful experience for her students. The results have been extraordinary so far. Benchmark exams this semester indicate learning is at an all time high!
