THIS WEEK______________________________________
Wednesday, February 28
Congregation-wide Purim Picnic and Megillah
6-7:30 p.m.

Bring your own dairy/vegetarian dinner (no meat or shellfish, please). We will provide drinks and hamantashen. If it's too chilly for a patio picnic, we'll eat indoors!

To fulfill the mitzvot of Matanot L'evyonim (gifts for those less fortunate), we will assemble Kehillah Care Kits as our Social Action Project. Each Kit contains a pair of socks (one of the most requested items), a mini-bottle of water, and a Nutri-Grain bar. (We encourage you to keep Kits in your car to give out as you see fit.)

It's not Purim without our creative reading of the Megillah!
Purim-themed costumes are encouraged. (Please don't bring toy weapons.)

JOIN US IN ISRAEL IN 2019
Come to Israel with us in 2019!

Is visiting Israel with your family on your bucket list?
Well, now is time to make this a reality!

Rabbi Sharfman is busy planning a wonderful family trip to Israel right after school ends in 2019. The dates are
May 29-June 11, 2019 (non-stops to and from LAX on El Al). Imagine 12 nights in Israel and you can do Bar/Bat Mitzvahs on Massada while we are there! Please let Rabbi know of your interest no later than March 11 (we need at least four families) and Rabbi will be in touch to discuss further.
Don't miss out on this opportunity of a lifetime. This is a trip you and your family will remember for years to come!

In addition, an adult-only trip is being planned for fall 2019 or spring 2020.

Dozens of Kehillah members and their friends have already visited Israel with Rabbi Sharfman, discovering the beauty, culture, history, religion, spirituality, and modernity that is unique to Israel. These Kehillah travelers will assure you that Rabbi Sharfman's contagious joy and breadth of knowledge will help make your Israel trip most memorable, whether it's your first visit or a return visit. Rabbi lived in Israel for many years and was a licensed tour guide there!

We can't wait to share more fabulous Israel experiences with you!

Let us know of your interest, so we can keep you posted on important developments as planning begins.
