MOVIE TIME
Sunday, June 26, early afternoon
Note - this is not our usual 3rd Sunday of the month

Open to all, and we'd love to have you join us! We'll pick the movie, plus the the time and location, closer to June 26. We usually attend the Harkins Shea or Harkins 101, and discuss the movie afterwards over yogurt, coffee or lunch.
You are always welcome to come even without an RSVP, but if we expect you we can let you know if there are any changes and try to save seats.
To receive final details for our movie plans, and to offer your suggestions, get on our Movie email list by sending your name and email to Marilyn Morris at [email protected] (or call her at 602-494-2800).

All are welcome to attend, even if you haven't finished (or started!) the book. The book was named a best book of the year by numerous critics and publications. Please RSVP to Chloe at [email protected]. If you have questions about the Book Group in general, please contact Sherry Siegel at [email protected].

Read ahead for our next meetings!
August 7: This is Where I Leave You, by Jonathan Tropper; at the home of Linda Brill
September 11: The Nightingale, by Kristin Hannah, at the home of Ellen Lerman
October 9: Charms for the Easy Life, by Kaye Gibbons, at the home of Ilene Riffle
Torah Talk
TORAH TALK
Saturday, July 16, 10:30 a.m.
At the home of Jane Neely
Co-sponsored by Sherry Siegel

Discover why Torah Talk is one of Kehillah's most-loved traditions! Torah Talk is a morning filled with questions, conversation, laughter, and the opportunity to get up-close and personal with Rabbi Sharfman and your fellow CK members and seekers. No prior knowledge is needed to enjoy Torah Talk; all are welcome. Please RSVP to Jane at [email protected] even if you are a regular attendee - it makes it so much easier for hosts to prepare. This Torah Talk will be lay-led.
SHOW YOUR SUPPORT
Add your name to the Anti-Defamation League's Letter
Extend your sympathy to the LGBT community targeted in the hateful shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando on June 12 by adding your name and expression of sympathy to ADL's letter of support. Responses will be shared directly with leaders of the community. Let them know your thoughts and prayers go out to the victims, their families and everyone touched by this tragedy. Help them find some measure of strength and comfort in the countless people around the U.S. and the world who are with them today.
WELCOME, NEW MEMBERS!
Please welcome our newest members!

Dan Sommer and Joanne Donnelly

We look forward to getting to know you!
IT'S TIME!
Dear Kehillah members,
We invite you to rejoin us for a wonderful year of High Holy Days,
Kabbalat graphic-heart.gif Shabbatot, Torah Talk, Youth and Adult Education, spiritual growth, joy and festivities with Rabbi Bonnie Sharfman and our Kehillah!

You should have received an email from Renee inviting you to rejoin for 2016-2017.  Along with her message was a letter from Kehillah president Rich Goldman, which you can also read here. Thank you!

If you're not a member yet....
we warmly invite you to join Kehillah!
Please contact the office at 602-369-7667 or visit our website for membership information. Thank you!

HELP OUT YEP!
YEP!, our Youth Education Program, is seeking your old laptops (eight years or less) silver_laptop.jpgand iPads for our Online Learning Center (OLC). We are planning on installing Google Chrome on the old laptops so the students can utilize the OLC. The Google Chrome program we will be using will wipe your old computer clean. New donations are also welcome!

Please contact Renee to arrange pick up of your donation. Thank you in advance for your donation and commitment to helping our students learn.
DO WE HAVE A DATE?
We sure do - multiple dates, in fact! The 2016-2017 Kehillah Calendar is filling up with dates for Kabbalat Shabbat, YEP!, Adult Ed, Girls' Night Out, Brotherhood, holidays, and so much more!

We've included all the dates for Kabbalat Shabbat, YEP!, and Torah Talk below - but please continue to check Connections for last-minute changes and adjustments. And of course, we'll still provide you with a printable monthly calendar; the link for that will continue to be on the top left of each Connections. And we'll continue to include "Dates Mentioned In This Issue," for upcoming events, in the gray column on the right. We are looking forward to a busy, jam-packed year!
