BREAKING NEWS - -
KEHILLAH PURCHASES DYNAMITE LOCATION!

A note from Rabbi Sharfman -

We are extremely excited to let you know that we have the keys to our Dynamite new home, eight minutes from our current location. This is an enormously significant and profoundly transformational accomplishment! None of this would have been possible without the extraordinary and visionary generosity of three congregant families who have extended themselves and stepped forward. Kehillah president Rich Goldman will share more information with you over the next two weeks.

Previously, Rich wrote and asked all of us to

"...dream big about what it means to have a new home that is truly ours. Try and imagine some of the opportunities for spiritual growth, educational programming, social action, community building, and group activities we can experience together. A great deal of money will be needed to do all that and offer what we aspire to achieve. As you know, Congregation Kehillah does not have a building fund assessment on its members. We do not intend to institute one, either; however, our need for financial support is very real.

Please think about building Congregation Kehillah into a life-changing Jewish wellspring of goodness in our lives; look deep within yourselves and ask what you can offer in the way of help to make that happen."

All services will continue to be in our current location through November.

SOCIAL ACTION

Kehillah senior founding member Irma Gottlieb is shown below with one of her creations: Irma crochets blankets of her own design made entirely from plastic supermarket bags. The  blankets are distributed to the homeless - and the plastic bags get recycled and put to good use!

Anyone with the desire can find a way to make the world a better place. Are you doing something that might inspire us? Please let us know!
