Come enjoy great food while supporting a great cause on July 24!  5:00 pm @ The Hamlet, Commack. Join us for dinner with our friends from South Huntington Jewish Center as we raise money  for our Congregations and for Sunrise Day Camp. We will be honoring TBT congregant Ethan Zemel, who will be there to share his experience of having pediatric cancer and what Sunrise Day Camp means to him.     
Cocktail hour and dinner starts at 5:00pm, following our sold out annual Golf Outing. $ 95 per person for dinner.  Raffle tickets will be available to purchase for amazing prizes.  Sponsorships are still available. Please call the Temple office 631 643-1200.

Friday, Sept 15, following Shabbat Services
Riva Ginsburg will present a lively, informative, humorous and interactive presentation on The Joys of Yiddish Language and Culture. Yiddish is a wonderful, rich language full of humor and vivid descriptive expressions and sayings. It has a bountiful tradition of literature, film, theater and poetry, which reflect the collective Jewish experience in Europe over the centuries. Ms. Ginsburg is a native speaker of Yiddish, born to Jewish resistance fighters in a displaced person’s camp in Fahrenvald, Germany shortly after the end of World War II, and is recognized nationally as an entertaining and talented lecturer. No knowledge of Yiddish is required to enjoy this witty and informative presentation.
