Increased Recycling = $6,233.18 Rebate

Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation has recently notified North Smithfield that the Town reached a recycling rate of 32.42% in FY16, which means that the town will receive a tip fee rebate of $2 per ton of trash disposed,  for a total of $6,233.18.

Town Administrator Hamilton would like to thank all those, including our recycling Coordinator Mrs. Kaehler, who are making an effort to recycle more "You should be proud of your efforts paying off!".
