Greetings!
This past week we lost some iconic people-- Margaret Thatcher, Roger Ebert, Lilly Pulitzer and Annette Funicello, all who created amazing legacies by what they contributed to the world. It got me thinking about the word legacy and how all of us have the same ability to create legacies in our own lives.
It's not likely that any of us will become the Prime Minister of a major country, the most well known and respected movie critic of our time or the fashion designer and creator of a major brand, for example. However, a legacy is simply the result of a life that has been fueled by passion, a mission or just by following our hearts and keeping what is important in the forefront. Legacies are created when our lives have a purpose.
As you think about your own legacy, remember, we are all here to contribute something to the world, not to just suck up oxygen and eventually shuffle off the mortal coil. Nobody is more special than the next, and no contribution is less or more important than another. Just follow your heart and live with purpose and your legacy will naturally create itself.
If you feel that your personal style and image isn't up to speed with your own passion or mission, remember, I am always available for wardrobe consult either in person or virtually. You can check out my services or drop me an email and we can discuss how to get your inner self aligned with your outer presentation.
In the meantime, check out what you've missed on my blog from the past week. You can also always stay looped in with me on Twitter, my Fan Page on Facebook and Pinterest, to name just a few. Look to the right for more ways to connect with me and my advice.
Have a fantastic week and never forget that you are important!! Now, go be great!
All the best,
