It's Face Painting Week!  October 24-29
During this week all our classes Level III and younger (average age 8 or younger) will have their faces painted.  Dancers are welcome to wear a costume as long as they can still move in them! They are also able to bring along a friend to join in the fun!!  Note that our older dancers will have an opportunity to bring along a friend later in the dance year!
WE ARE CLOSED ON HALLOWEEN DAY OCTOBER 31!

Peek Week
Monday Nov 7-Saturday Nov 12

We welcome you and your cameras for our annual peek week.  Please come and take as many pictures and videos of your dancers classes in their entirety!!  Please note that dancers tend to act a bit differently when an active audience is present.  Though we will make general corrections we tend not to call out individuals in front of their families during peek week.  We ask that while classes are in session you  silence your phones and keep conversations to a minimum so that dancers can stay focused.  This is a great week and we look forward to seeing everyone!

Please note:  The parking lot will be a bit full and crazy!  Please be patient as the craziness ends quickly!

Costume Deposits Due
November 1-15

As explained in our last Newsletter, we have an annual recital on Saturday May 27.  Though recital is not mandatory most dancers do participate.  If your dancer will not be participating in recital please notify the office.  Deposits are $65 per class.  As we mentioned previously, a recital is much like planning a wedding and costumes need to be ordered months in advance.

Kindness Through Dance!  Each month we will be doing a studio wide act of Kindness.  This month we have been collecting Halloween costumes for those who could not afford them.  Be watching the waiting room and future newsletters for our continuing effort.  In the month of November we will be hosting a dance workshop open to any dancer 7+.  It will be held Saturday November 26 9-3:30 for the cost of $75 for dancers 9+ and $40 for dancers 7-8.  The event is being sponsored by Credit Union Kids @Heart who raise funds for research at Boston Children's Hospital. Our own JR is running the Boston Marathon as part of the team and pledges to raise over $25,000 this year.  All guest teachers at this event are volunteering their time.  This is a win-win!  A great day of dance for your dancer as well as a tax deductible donation.  Please register in the office if you are interested.  All payments must be checks made out to Credit Union Kids @ Heart or cash and must be paid upon registering.
