HIGHLIGHTS

2015 marked many memorable moments at NLS, and December was certainly no exception!

Thank you to all the amazing volunteers, and for the donations we received during the holiday season.

Our Holiday Family Night saw record breaking attendances for both volunteers and families. It was an event to remember, with many wonderful memories being made possible because of all the hard work of volunteers.

Our Facebook page  reached our 2015 goal by having over 1,000 followers! Thank you to all who follow, and helped make this goal possible.  If you have not done so already, please like Neighbors Link Stamford on Facebook, share our page, and tell your friends about us!

OTHER NLS NEWS

Please join us this Saturday, January 9th at 12:30. We will be hosting a community event about the recent immigration activities at the national level. We urge you to attend, as this is a very crucial topic for our community. It is important to stay informed with credible sources. Attending the event are two professional immigration attorneys to answer any questions you may have.
OPPORTUNITIES

SUNDAY WARM MEALS
We are looking for volunteers; (families or groups), who would be interested in providing warm meals during the winter. The cold weather means less work and opportunities for day laborers. NLS would like to offer members of this community a safe  place to come and enjoy the company of friends over a warm meal.

This is a great way to give back to a group who needs our help during this time.

FAMILY NIGHT SPONSORS
If you have attended a NLS Family Night, you know how special they are. We are looking for groups; (schools, families, companies, etc.) to help provide or sponsor family nights for 2016. We have several monthly slots still available. This is an incredible opportunity for those interested in volunteering on a wide-reaching scale.
