Today's Program; Habitat for Humanity

Our speaker today was Elisha Baird from Habitat for Humanity, Lee & Hendry Counties. Our local habitat works on neighborhood revitalization, re-habs existing homes and does new home constructions. There is a process in place for new owners as well as
responsibilities of them. There are 3 Resale Restores in Lee County as well as a number of volunteer opportunities. It takes 1,300 volunteer hours to build one home.
