Potluck in the Park
Need Volunteers!
"Potluck in the Park needs a number of additional volunteers for our various teams.  We have an immediate need specifically for someone who can pick up our meals, drive them to downtown, help serve, and then bring back pans and containers.

The process takes from 1:30 to about 5 p.m. This volunteer is needed for the even months of the year (February, April, June, August, October, and December).

This request is from our Potluck in the Park Team 4 (which indicates that they serve the 4th Sunday of each month).  Please contact John Bacialli at John Bacialli at JBacialli@umpquainvestments.com.

This Sunday!
30 Good Minutes for Adults
This week join us after both services as we continue to explore the Book of Common Prayer. This week and next we will examine the Holy Eucharist. The Holy Eucharist is the other primary sacrament for the Anglican communion and includes prayers and practices that are older than Christianity.

This week our focus is on the Liturgy of the Word.  The conversations will include both history and practice and how indeed our prayer shapes our belief and our living.
Lent

Lent is the season of preparation for Easter. Traditionally, Christians have observed Lent by praying, fasting and alms giving (an archaic term that means generosity towards others). We invite you and those you love to join us as we observe this holy season and prepare our hearts and our lives for Easter. Check out the many resources for Lent at  http://ccparish.org/lent/
