Vision and Mission Statement

Vision Statement
We, the community of All Saints',  endeavor to live the love of Christ, as we embrace and serve all of creation as one family.

Mission Statement
1. To become a community of people who worship together and live the Gospel of Christ to the fullest.

2. To become a community of people who practice the Baptismal Covenant and respect the dignity of all people.

3. To become a community of people who, on a daily basis, welcome, empower, and equip one another for the individual ministry to which one is called.

4. To become a people who incorporate the best from the past, embrace the best of the present and prepare for a better future.

Storage Clean-up

LET"S TRY AGAIN!  An end of the year sorting and rearranging effort planned for the All Saints' storage area was delayed so we could focus volunteer energy on the recent renovation of the two nursery rooms. On February 1 at 9 am we plan a second attempt at gathering to work together and clean out the big storage room that opens off Sutherland Hall.  All those who have items stored in that area are invited to join the team and help make that space safe and useful once again.

If you can't come help on that Thursday, February 1 please label stored items that are important for your ministry and/or speak to Sue Hastings-Bishop, Suzanne Hodges, or Carolyn McLellan about how to best preserve and access your supplies.

Mouaz Moustafa Islamic was born and raised in Damascus before moving to Arkansas as a teenager. He is currently the Executive Director of the Syrian Emergency Task Force (SETF), the central office of which is located in Washington DC. In the past two years, many Arkansans (Episcopalians among them) have worked with Mouaz and SETF on humanitarian projects in war-torn Syria. Two such projects are the Wisdom House School (a preschool for children) and Tomorrow's Dawn (a women's center). Mouaz will be speaking at the Islamic Center of Russellville (2001 W. Parkway)) on Friday, February 9th, at 3 pm. All are invited to attend.
Spiritual Literacy:
Recognizing the Sacred in Each Other and Everyday Life

Based on the Spiritual Alphabet developed by Frederic and Mary Brussat, this seven-week series will explore spiritual practices that cultivate our ability to see the sacred in our midst. Such practices are not the property of any particular religion; instead, they are the basis of a healthy spiritual life for people of all religions, those of no religion, and those who consider themselves "spiritual but not religious." This series is open to everyone.
