Total today 27. Members-20, Guests-2 speaker Leslie Robinson and Doug Lacher (Bill Grant),
Interclub with San Carols/Estero Cub -Dave Bartlett, Gunney Matthews, Kathy List, Steve List, Ellis Bartlett.  Nice to see Tom Thornquist, Dorothy Graham, Dick Arndt, Pam Grabe, Steve Hess and Kurt Chalgren all back with us today!
Announcements
  • Special membership meeting March 7
  • We are supporting Aktion Club project this month by bringing in hygiene supplies and blankets for local seniors. Bring them to any meeting this month.
  • We are also supporting K-Kids by collecting alum tabs. Bring them by next Tuesday and a club member will take them up on the 20th.
  • We need readers/mentors for the Oasis project, see link below to sign up.
  • Barbara Hartman said Builders Club may have a few runners and Angela Nader said students from Orangewood may be interested too.
  • BUG run; if you use social media please like and share our posts
  • We are invited to Interclub with San Carlos/Estero Club. They meeting at 7:15am at Haney's. CafĂ© in San Carlos Plaza on Thursdays.

Today's Program: Street Chicks in Recovery

Today Leslie Robinson talked to use about prevention education programs. Today she showed us the slide show
Marijuana; Adolescent Prevention Program that is used to reach young people about the dangers of marijuana, how it is perceived by youth today, forms of the drug, health hazards, use and driving and how used for profit in the business world. The format combines videos, cartoon themes, and graphics. They also have Chicklet TV.net, a show for kids by kids.

 Our Sheriff today was Steve Hess. Tom's back, ReadingPals, speakers and chairs, fines, great to be back, recovering hippies, Interclub, Judges needed for the fair, grandkids, hope our 2016 health challenges are behind us.
