Summer Sermon Series
This Sunday, we begin a summer sermon series that will focus on the Old Testament book of Exodus and in particular on God’s gift of the 10 Commandments. We will turn directly to the words of Scripture to understand these words of God’s law and the context in which they are given. It all starts with God telling us who he is, and what he has done for us, and why that knowledge comes before any of the commands that he gives us. Join us this Sunday and for the next several weeks to grow in a deeper, richer understanding of God’s 10 Commands!

God be good to you!
Pastor Steve Timm
Help with Home Turf
A beautiful lawn doesn’t happen by itself - volunteers are needed and appreciated to help with mowing on Thursdays at 9:00 a.m.

Hope to see you at the garage behind the church – thank you!
Attention: Women's Bible Study
There is a day change for the month of June only: Monthly Women’s Bible Study will be meeting on Tuesday, June 5 at 10:00 a.m. Instead of Tuesday, June 12.
Friends in Faith
The Friends in Faith program will equip you for one-on-one visits with members of our community who are feeling isolated. Whether at home or in a care facility, we all need connections, and you could be the one to share with them in the love of Jesus.

Learn more at a training:
  • 6:30-8:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 5

Contact Pastor Steve or Gail Bradford to find out more!
Social Concerns Committee in Action
The June mission partner is right in our back yard - literally! We will partner with the Property Committee and the Youth and Family Committee to repair and spiff up the two play sets behind the church. We'll take a noisy offering on Father's Day, June 17, to make the play sets safe and welcoming for kids at Rejoice. The youth will complete the project on a service day in July.

Please join the conversation at the next meeting of the Social Concerns committee on Tuesday, June 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the library.
Stroll Down Memory Lane with Young @ Hearts
We will be visited by a volunteer from Pioneer Park in Annandale, who will tell the story of one-room schoolhouses and will give us some inside information about events happening in July – such as the “County Church and Picker’s Fest”.

Lunch is at Noon, followed by an entertaining and informative program. As always, reservations are appreciated, allowing us to appropriately approximate food quantity, and menu planning. A donation of $4.50 is suggested.
