May 30, 2018
Dear Village Resident,
The Police Department would like to remind you to lock your car if you park it outside and to not leave any valuables inside. With the warmer weather now here, there are more people outside and an unlocked vehicle is an open invitation. The last couple of weeks, the Wilmot Farms and Breezy Lawn Subdivisions were hit with vandalism and thefts from vehicles. If you see or hear anything, please call the non-emergency dispatch number (not the Spring Grove Police number) at 815-338-2144. If you have outside cameras, please check to see if they captured anything.
