Advertise Your Business
The village is now offering space on the outfield baseball fences at Thelen Park to advertise your business! The 4'x8' signs are made of aluminum "smart metal" and won't tear or rust! The price for the 2018 baseball season is $350. Contact Matt Wittum at the village here.
Library Celebrating 45 Years!
The Nippersink Library is celebrating 45 years of service to the community with a week full of events and activities, starting with Jim May on Saturday, April 7, and concluding with RC Juggles and Will Kruger on Saturday, April 14. There will be a Facebook event where you can RSVP, but all activities are free of charge and no registration is required to attend.
Got Woodchips?
If you're in need of wood chips, the village has plenty to give away. You can come and get them any Monday - Friday from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. Don't forget your shovel!
Cycling for Kids Blue Ribbon Ride
Join in the 5th annual CFK Blue Ribbon Ride to benefit McHenry County CASA for children. The 30-mile ride starts at Horse Fair Park on Sunday, April 22. Lite breakfast, snacks & post-ride lunch provided. $35 before April 14 and $40 after April 14. Learn more & register at www.cyclingforkids.net .

Be a Good Neighbor
Groot Bins
Did you know there is a Village Ordinance regarding trash and recycling bins? The earliest they can be put out is 7 p.m. the day before pickup and they must be removed by 7 p.m. on the pickup day. Also please don't store bins on the driveway, parkway, or front yard. Be a good neighbor and store them out of view.
