Dear Village Resident,
The 4th of July Committee says local business owners and groups still have a chance to get in on advertising opportunities on the 4th of July! Participate in the parade (IT'S FREE!), by signing up to be in the parade with a vehicle, float, or walkers on their website under "parade registration" before July 3! You can hand out flyers, coupons, candy - any advertising materials are acceptable.
 
Donate any amount and be recognized on banners at Horse Fair Park (banner deadline is this Friday, June 29). Contact any committee member and they can pick up your donation today! Any donations received by July 3rd will also be recognized on social media and their website. You can also donate via paypal at https://www.sg4thofjuly.com/donate

Calling All Artists!
Spring Grove Pub & Pizza is gearing up to open their doors soon! They are calling all local artists for a challenge, inviting you to submit a design to be featured on an interior wall in support of all branches of the armed forces (Army, Navy, Marines Corps, Air Force and Coast Guard). The winner will apply their design to the 24' x 7 ' wall and will be highlighted in the local news and on social media pages. All supplies and materials will be paid for by SGP&P and the artist will have bragging rights, along with an endless supply of pizza. Come Hungry on the 4th
Come hungry to the parade on the 4th! Enjoy the annual pig roast and cookout at The Grove with Mai Tais, Bloody Marys and all of your favorite cocktails! Food will be ready to go by 10:00 a.m. Judson Brown will be performing before and after the parade! Located at 2008 Main Street.

4th of July Breakfast at Bricks & Ivy
Enjoy an All-You-Can-Eat buffet before the parade starting at 9 a.m. with scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon, sausage and fresh fruit. Coffee , orange juice and milk included or start the day with a Bloody Mary or Mimosa!

2018 RBCHS Alumni Banquet
This year's Alumni Banquet will be held on Saturday, July 21, at Maravela's Banquet Hall in Fox Lake. Cocktail hour begins at 6:00 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m. View the flyer with more information or visit here .
Extra Patrols
Extra traffic enforcement patrols will be out for the 4th of July holiday now through July 8. The patrols will be focusing on drunk and unbuckled drivers. Please be safe during this all-too-often deadly time on Illinois roads.
