Youth Chorus Is Starting Up!
New Singers Welcome

River's Edge Youth Chorus are looking for Singers

Do you love to sing?  We have what you need to nurture and develop that beautiful voice.  The newly named River's Edge Youth Chorus is looking for young singers in grades 3 through 12 to work with choral director Jan Patterson, her assistant, former Youth Chorus member Sarah Worrest, and pianist Stan Hansen for the fall.  Your child will learn to develop your voice while learning a challenging mix of music including American, folk, multicultural and classical pieces.  The chorus will rehearse many songs in preparation for several planned concerts, including the Arts Alliance annual Holiday Concert on Saturday, December 15th at Hudson High School where they will join the adult musical performing groups; the River's Edge Community Band and River's Edge Chorale.  The Holiday concert is a delightful annual community event which is extremely popular around the holidays.

This is a wonderful opportunity for young singers to develop their musicianship in a positive and nurturing environment with other people who love to sing.  The River's Edge Youth Chorus will hold rehearsals at Hudson High School's Chorus Room, (C110) 69 Brigham Street, Hudson.  Regular Monday evening rehearsals begin at 6:30.  There is a registration fee for this activity, with some financial aid available.  Membership discounts for tuition and concert tickets apply.  For information on registration and membership please visit  www.upwitharts.org
