Youth Ministry News - Lent 2017
It's the Third Sunday of Lent!

Today was a great day for Mass at Guardian Angels - those who will be baptized at the Easter Vigil went through their First Scrutiny, Lenten practices and sacrifices are underway, and we had a wonderful weekend of youth ministry events (Friday and Saturday). Below you'll find the extra email that was promised at the beginning of the month. As you can see, there is a wealth of opportunities leading us right into that joyous season of Easter.

I hope that this information is helpful. God bless you!

In Christ,
Bradley Barnes, Coordinator of Youth Ministry
"Encounter" (High School)

There is a dynamic, high-energy event for high school youth called "Encounter Cincinnati" on Saturday, April 1st. This free event will be held at Roger Bacon (the event group had to change venues from the Underground) from 7:00 - 10:00 pm.

Friday Night Live! (All Grades)

There will be an April FNL on Friday, April 7th. We will begin at the parish fish fry (enjoying fellowship and festivities), head up to Stations of the Cross, and play some large group games closing with a time of reflection. Youth will need to bring money for food if they plan on eating.

Middle School Retreat

3-10pm on Saturday, April 8th will be our "Behold!" retreat.  We'll enter the mysteries of Holy Week through testimonies, games, praise and worship, and an interactive Stations of the Cross. There will also be a chance to play the EXTREMELY popular game "Find the Light!"

Holy Week at GA

There is so much to do during Holy Week, including the beautiful liturgy of the Sacred Triduum (Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Vigil) and other great opportunities (praying the steps, final Fish Fry, Adoration, and more). Contact the Youth Ministry Office and let us know if you have questions about how to connect your family into our celebration!
