Good news!
The 3rd annual Ebony and Ivory Ball raised $3122 for scholarships for Youth @ Synod. Many thanks to Larry Roeming for hosting this program in honor of Edward Turner, a faithful member of Center Church in Hartford and the Hartford Association.
Plan ahead for summer 2019 when the UCC Synod will be held in Milwaukee, WI. If you have a youth in your congregation who would like to gain leadership experience as an advocate for justice, contact Debby Kirk at debbyk@ctucc.org.

Youth Racial Justice Training Program - "Did You Know?"

"Did You Know?" is an adaptation of our training "From Tolerance to Unity". The focus and goal of this program is to unmask the covert forms of racism that live within our country, and shed light on information that is commonly unknown in the younger generation. This program which dives into the four realms of racism, as well as current issues, is tailored specifically for young people. Sessions are available for both middle and high school aged students. Partner with another congregation to offer a training or join one of the scheduled dates.
