ENGAGEMENT
Enhancing User Experience Research:  A Longitudinal Approach
User experience is typically measured at one point in time.  But some research projects can benefit from a longitudinal approach to measure user experience over a longer period. For a recent Zeldis project, the client's objective was to define user's initial reactions and engagement with a new product and understand how it would change over time.  We also sought to measure the impact of that initial experience on continued usage, the likelihood of that user to influence others, and the potential to use other products of its type. Longitudinal relationship research can reveal user information that may not emerge during a point-in-time snapshot. The approach is quite flexible, and deliverables can include videos, direct quotes and other useful feedback.

METHODS
CO-CREATION RISING: We're seeing growing interest in "Co-Creation," a qualitative  approach to concept development.  The process brings brands together with consumers to uncover new solutions and gives users a literal  "seat at the table" for product innovation.  In the past year, we've helped bring clients and their customers together to explore their needs and brainstorm new ideas, using a range of traditional and digital qualitative techniques.  See some examples of Co-Creation Research HERE.
