Yorkton Chamber of Commerce Receives Accreditation for Reaching a Standard of Chamber Excellence
The Yorkton Chamber of Commerce is now part of a group of elite Chambers of Commerce in Canada that have reached a standard in Chamber excellence. The Yorkton Chamber joins the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce and the Chambers in Saskatoon, Lloydminster, and Regina as Accredited Chambers of Commerce.
Energy Efficiency Strategy
The Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce formed a 100-Day Energy Efficiency Task Force to articulate a clear framework for Saskatchewan moving forward with respect to promoting energy conservation measures.

Supporting the "Made in Saskatchewan" Climate Change Strategy
The Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce surveyed its members on the issue of carbon pricing and the results showed that the Chamber should continue to support opposing the implementation of a federal carbon pricing program and also advocate for technological investments and incentives to reduce emissions.  Read more.
