Lac La Ronge Indian Band and Cameco sign collaboration agreement
The Lac La Ronge Indian Band (LLRIB) and Cameco Corporation have signed a collaborative agreement that enhances and sustains their existing relationship, until the closure of the last of Cameco’s existing operations in northern Saskatchewan.

Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA)
On April 7, 2017, federal, provincial, and territorial governments announced the Canada Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), which will improve the flow of goods, services, and investment in Canada's borders; as well as impact labour mobility. 
 
The new agreement took effect on July 1, 2017.
