T. Tilford - SL debut

An open letter to YOU, my Fans!

I may be gone, but YOU are never forgotten...

I wanted to take a quick moment here to Thank each of YOU for your cards, letters & notes of encouragement last year while I was shooting The Protector.

Sadly, as you already know, we were not picked up for a second season, but what is as important to me is, since leaving One Life to Live as Dr. Greg Evans, each of you has continued to support and champion my endeavors. I had an awesome time taking on the role of Detective Ramon "Romeo" Rush, got the chance to do some incredible action sequences and have delved into several other projects since then.

As some of you are aware, I am in post-production on two films that I'm producing, Broken Roads and the Shakespeare adaptation of "Henry IV" entitled H4. Making films is a long and grueling, yet exciting process. We are making quite a bit of headway on both and I promise to keep you as informed and updated as I possibly can.

This past December, I also shot a television pilot starring Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas entitled This American Housewife. We shot the pilot just before Christmas in Vancouver, British Columbia and that was quite thrilling. Our director, David A. Slade was a cool, short ball of energy, having directed Eclipse, one of the installments in the Twilight franchise. David was so creative and had an awesome personality and it was cool to finally work with Melanie!

Almost immediately following This American Housewife, I was offered and played a man that is assaulting young children in a foster-care home. The film is a short and stars myself, the domineering Loretta Devine and Vanessa Williams. The film truly challenges the stakes that are raised and questions the importance of America's foster-care system...

Just as I was wrapping that project, I was offered the role of a high-powered lawyer on the VH1 original-scripted television series Single Ladies, which is described as a modern version of Sex in the City, only sexier...hahaha! That series has taken me to Atlanta, GA where we film. I will be a part of the regular cast in a "Special Guest Starring" role as I commute back and forth from there, Los Angeles and New York almost every other week. So my schedule has been quite hectic, but the filming is going extremely well and we have about 10-12 more episodes before we wrap the season, sometime in July or August. The show will debut, however, presumably about May 28th on VH1, so if you don't have that channel on your cable, make sure you get it!

Finally, while shooting Single Ladies, I was offered the pivotal role in an indie-feature entitled The Cheaters Club, which I've been shooting in Los Angeles. The movie revolves around a group of women who form this club to teach "cheating" men a lesson. Fortunately, I am NOT one of those men, however I am mistaken for one and my character does reach a terrible demise. It's a bit of a haunting film that may take many of you by surprise...that's all I'll say about that.

So, that's what I've been up to lately...hahaha! Busy, Busy, Busy! But, I wouldn't have it any other way!

I am also venturing into 3 other endeavors, which when ready I will post on my fan page. And there is something really exciting that will be FREE to YOU!

Until then, if you'd like to write to me, you may do so at my new address:
