Dance on the Dark Side! Jungian psychotherapists explore the mystery, the power, and the freedom of the Dark Side of our psyche, "The Shadow".  This dark side is made up of all the parts of ourselves that are hidden, denied, and suppressed and that we reject out of shame, fear or, disapproval. As the great Swiss psychologist C.G. Jung said, "Our shadow is the person we would rather not be."
The season of Halloween is the perfect time to go there!  Join Jule, Mind-Body Psychotherapist + Nia Somatic Educator + Trainer for a special compilation of 'dark' tracks from bodies of work from the Twilight Saga, Damian Rice, Eminem, U2, David Bowie, Beyonce, Shakira, and NiaSounds...along with  Alt-Rock artists like The Killers, White Lies, The Black Keys, White Lies, AWOL Nation, and MORE, to delve into, dance, and explore your shadow self!  Dance on the Dark Side with us on Saturday 10/29 at 10:20a and Monday 10/31 at 9:45a!

Be inspired by the sacred vibration of Sitar music and the movement of yoga. In Yoga with Live Sitar Music on Friday 11/4 at 7p, go on a soulful journey. The yoga practice begins with massage ballwork and includes slow flowing yoga connected to the breath.

Restorative yoga allows for relaxation and rejuvenation of the mind and body. When supported properly with blankets, blocks and props, the mind and body are able to reset and renew, reducing tension and increasing energy.

In Restorative Yoga, poses are held a bit longer, allowing you to rest deeply while passively stretching and opening the body in a gentle way.
Connect with your true essence during this meditative, soothing practice.

You'll learn to organize your physical self to move with greater ease and effectiveness, improving co-ordination, range of motion, and balance.

Our yoga basics series teach the fundamentals of Hatha Yoga. Classes are small, so individual attention is guaranteed. You'll learn the asanas (yoga poses) in a methodical, progressive manner, giving you a firm foundation for a lasting yoga practice.
