Don't forget: Across the diocese, this Sunday, May 18, will be recognized as Procter Summer Camp Sunday!
Everyone is encouraged to wear their camp tie-dye shirts to church, ask someone to witness about what camp means to them, sing camp songs at worship and donate the loose offerings from Sunday to the Procter Camp Scholarship Fund.
Procter Summer Camp is dedicated to making camp available for all to come and experience what our community has to offer. Procter Summer Camp granted over $27,000 in scholarship assistance last summer. Thanks to all who have contributed in the past, and thanks to those who plan to contribute. Let's all help send a camper to camp!

Kids4Peace: Cathedral exploring establishing a Midwest center
Kids4Peace is a global movement of Jewish, Christian and Muslim youth, dedicated to ending conflict and inspiring hope in divided societies around the world while fostering sustainable friendships across the lines of conflict. Founded in Jerusalem in 2002,
Kids4Peace is nonpolitical, nonsectarian and nonpartisan.
Through a network of local chapters, Kids4Peace operates five international summer camps and a six-year, year-round program for more than 250 Palestinian, Israeli and North American youth.
Members of the Christ Church Cathedral are exploring the possibility of bringing the Kids4Peace program to the greater Cincinnati area. They are hosting a series of meetings in mid-May during which community interfaith leaders and other interested persons may learn more. The Rev. Josh Thomas, executive director of Kids4Peace in the United States, and Dr. Yakir Englander, vice president of the Kids4Peace board of directors, will be giving presentations at the meetings.
The cathedral will host a public meeting on Thursday, May 15 at 10 a.m. for those interested in learning more. For community interfaith leaders preferring meetings at their own offices, the Kids4Peace representatives have set aside Thursday afternoon and Friday. For more information, contact Judy Chamberlain at cjbconsultants@fuse.net or call 513.451.1120.
