FALL TEAM DONATIONS
Every Program asks for a Team Donation to cover expenses not paid for by the District. These expenses include tournament fees; equipment; uniforms; apparel; additional coaches' stipends, transportation if needed; awards, etc. If a Program has a Freshman team they are responsible for ALL their expenses.

The Mt. Diablo School District covers officials, up to two coaches' stipends per Program, and transportation to most league events for Varsity and Junior Varsity only.

Click  HERE  to make a  voluntary  donation to help cover those costs.  Donations are managed directly by the Head Coach with the assistance of the Athletic Boosters Club.

Please note that your student is not required to purchase, donate, or contribute any portion of the team's costs as a condition of participation on an athletic team. Additionally, no student will be denied the opportunity to participate on an athletic team if he or she chooses not to voluntarily purchase, donate, or contribute any portion of the team's expenses or if he or she chooses not to participate in any fundraising event(s).

WANT TO CONTRIBUTE FURTHER?
Join Our Team!
The Athletic Boosters Club is always looking for parents to join our team!!  There are so many ways to get involved. We have opportunities for every interest and talent, and you can pick something that fits your busy schedule.  Some take a few hours a month while others can be completed in one day. Please let us know if you have a specific interest or any particular skills that would be helpful to our Club.

Below are our open positions.  Please look them over and consider being part of our team. Maybe you know someone that would be perfect for the position?  There will be plenty of support and help along the way. Consider sharing a position with a friend.   We welcome new ideas and believe the more parent involvement, the stronger we are, and the more our students benefit.

Community Partners: This is a great way to promote College Park Athletics. We want to partner with local businesses to sponsor our sports programs while we promote their business. This is a fun and easy position for someone already involved in our community or wants to become more involved in our community. Email Chris Croft for more information.

eScrip/AmazonSmile: Work with Team Parents and Coaches to promote eScrip.  Keep track of who on each team is registered with eScrip by logging on the eScrip website and send reminder emails to those who are not registered.  Also acts as a liaison between teams and the Athletic Booster Club.  Email Sandy Engdahl for more information.

Secretary: Attend monthly meetings, held on the 2nd Monday of each month. Gather information to create an agenda and take meeting notes to distribute to board members. BONUS:  you get to work with a great group of parents!  Time commitment is about 2 hours each month outside of the meetings to create the agenda and type up the minutes.  Also, responsible for sending thank you cards. Email Chris Croft for more information.

Spirit Wear: Do you love showing your Falcon spirit? Looking for a parent to be responsible for the selling CP Spirit Wear at special events, fulfill online orders, manage the stock and place re-orders.  This is also a fun position to share with a friend.  Email Trisha Corey  for more information.

Crab Feed Team: Our Crab Feed is an annual event and is our biggest fundraiser of the year! We have experienced Committee Chairs looking for help with Sponsorships, Donations, Food and Beverage, Raffles and of course the Auction. The event will be held on February 6, 2016 but we are looking for team members now (no tryouts required)! All the work is done in 5 short months, so don't be shy. This is a great way to get involved and meet other parents working to make College Park athletics stronger. Grab a friend and join a bunch of other parents having fun. Email Chris Croft for more information.
STAY INFORMED

While this e-Newsletter is a great way to stay informed, the CPHS Athletic Boosters website is an even better spot to find resources and more detailed information about the various sports programs at College Park.

Our website is the athletic portion of College Park's website, making it easier for parents to find information; purchase spirit wear; view individual team sites; download helpful documents like the Activity Clearance Form; and view team parent resources like the links to make district and team contributions. You will also find coach contact information, important news items, the sporting event calendar and information about upcoming events.
