e-bike pilot program
The Metro District is launching a pilot program for e-bikes from April to October. Under current rules, electric bikes or e-bikes are prohibited in parks and on open space trails. During this trial period, Class I and Class II e-bikes will be permitted. Park rangers will log observed and reported e-bike interactions in addition to gathering comments from trail users. Findings from this pilot program will be reported to the Metro District Board of Directors in November.
We would like your input. Please take a few moments to take an online survey about e-bikes. Click here to take the survey.
If you have questions, please contact Nick Adamson, natural resources manager, at nadamson@highlandsranch.org.

Renew the Ranch is a kid-friendly activity. Groups, families, and individuals are all encouraged to attend. This is a great opportunity for families to volunteer together and for high school students to earn community service hours required for graduation.
