Except for the fact that I forgot to leave them the key for the locked knife display case my antique mall booth is up and running.  I still have some projects to work on including getting some slide out boxes of $3-$5 patches tagged and into that display table in the back.
Vintage Boy Scout Memorabilia Up First
I knew that in the beginning there would be a bump in sales as people got into picking a new booth.  So I've almost got my March rent covered.  You'll hear me talk about this as my clearance booth.  So my goal here is to move out inventory not make a mint.  To that end I retagged every item in the store and in most cases cut the asking price in 1/2.  In some cases I even took an item I was asking $35 for and marked it $8.

Order of the Arrow Auctions Live on eBay
These books, uniforms and framed prints are the types of things that I don't want to drag around the country to TORs and also don't want to ship from Internet sales.  Every collection is going to have a lot of this stuff and my booth is the place where I'm going to mark it down and move it out the door - or that's the plan!
Scouting Auctions Ending Soon on eBay
After spending all of last week being consumed with setting up the antique mall booth I hope this week will be different.  My focus today is listing on eBay and getting through as much consignment items as I can.  I've got 1,000 free auctions thanks to my eBay store subscription and I plan on using them.
Keep Up With The Latest New From The Booth
I use www.SanteeswapperStore.com as the website to promote and share updates on my antique mall booth strategy.

The very last auctions from the PA collection are due to end this week on eBay.  Ironically, I decided to run most of the patches last as you can see here.
I have fliers for the Charlotte TOR up on the counter in my booth to help get the word out.  We are about three weeks away and things are clicking.  My biggest issue right now is I'm having to put collectors on a waiting list for tables and I hate to turn anybody away!

Yours in Scouting,

Make plans now to attend the return of a tradition that's been missing for too long - the Charlotte TOR.  I'm helping organize the show as a fundraiser for Pack 33 at Sardis Presbyterian Church in Charlotte.  We couldn't have a more supportive host.  The church just celebrated 75 years of Scouting including sponsoring two troops and a pack.  The show is being held in the 8,000+ square foot fellowship hall.  We have ample parking and many amenities in this part of Charlotte.
