My old buddy Nick Loesch is running a big sale in his Firstcalltx Collectibles eBay store to kick off 2017.  Nick has built up his story where it might be the largest in the category with almost 14k items.

If you are an eBay store owner then don't forget that you have a valuable coupon waiting on you for free shipping supplies.  You need to go under Manage your store> subscriber discounts to get the link.  I'm sitting on all the envelopes and tape I can use but you can bet I'm placing a new order today.
Order of the Arrow Auctions Live on eBay
I saw a post on Facebook that said National OA reversed their iron clad rule of no OBV sets and instead no strongly recommends against it.  Is this an Internet hoax?  My lodge was one of those that about 10 years ago scrapped the system under orders.  I'm not sure that they would go back but it makes for an interesting topic at our Winter Banquet coming up this Saturday.
Scouting Auctions Ending Soon on eBay
I'm lining up some last minute guests to appear on my relaunched Podcast airing tomorrow night at 9 PM eastern.  If you are in the Scout Patch Collectors Facebook group I'll post a link before I go live.

The kids go back to school tomorrow and I'm hoping to start some new routines that will get me listing more in my eBay store.  Now this same fresh start for 2017 involves a trip to the fitness center and walking the dogs so wish me luck!
I had a friendly message from a Scouter in a neighboring council offering to promote the Charlotte TOR at his round table.  I'd love to get message like that every week.  I know some of you in the surrounding territory have banquets and such coming up so let me know if I can mail you a stack of fliers.

Yours in Scouting,

Make plans now to attend the return of a tradition that's been missing for too long - the Charlotte TOR.  I'm helping organize the show as a fundraiser for Pack 33 at Sardis Presbyterian Church in Charlotte.  We couldn't have a more supportive host.  The church just celebrated 75 years of Scouting including sponsoring two troops and a pack.  The show is being held in the 8,000+ square foot fellowship hall.  We have ample parking and many amenities in this part of Charlotte.
