All of this hopefully plants a seed that a year from now she can be making the leap to joining a Venturing Crew.  We won't give up on Girl Scouts but since her troop only meets every other week already it's not all consuming.  There are some crews in Charlotte and in a perfect world we could plug into an active one.  I've already got her a forest green shirt hanging in the closet ready to go.

Next weekend I'm batting for the other team and going on a Girl Scout troop camping trip down to Savannah.  Most of you will know this is sorta a pilgrimage that most Girl Scouts attempt to make to tour the Founders House. We are camping at Camp Low which is another kinda iconic place in the program.  It might be time to break out some of my really vintage Girl Scout stuff to get the girls attention.
