GGWPatchTrading

Join me tomorrow night on my podcast for an interview with Nick Wolf.  As many of you know the "king of patches" has been busy making patch trading blankets in anticipation of the big Jamboree this summer.  We will talk about that and his bulk selling strategy on the show.
Vintage Boy Scout Memorabilia Up First
Later this week I'll be publishing another one of my unboxing videos.  This one I filmed a while back and it just got lost in the shuffle.  I also have been working to edit a video I shot at the Columbus OH TOR that might be ready to go this week also.  This one is kinda fun because it stresses how unique TORs are compared to buying on eBay or through Facebook.
Charlotte Trade-O-Ree Floor Plan
The yellow tables on this floor plan map represent the ones available to rent with less than 2 months to go. You can check out the floor plan map for the Charlotte TOR at this link.  We have 26 tables remaining to hit a sell out.  You can get a copy of the flier if you need more information.
Order of the Arrow Auctions Live on eBay
My mom came up for a quick visit Sunday so she could attend the Cub Pack's Blue & Gold Banquet to celebrate the Boy Scouts 107th year.  So on Monday she volunteered to help me ship out orders to get a taste of what I do all day. I'm not sure I've convinced her of the virtues of doing an online business just yet.  She knows I've got 3 college degrees in the drawer collecting dust.
Scouting Auctions Ending Soon on eBay
As we get into the final stretch of preparations for the Charlotte TOR the Cubmaster and I are talking about concessions, signage and all the back end stuff that goes into putting on a good show.  This week I got table reservations from collectors in Florida and Virginia.
Patchblanket.com eBay Store Santeeswapper
I have 271 live auctions running this week on eBay.  I don't know if I can handle putting much more than that because staying caught up on shipping will be a chore.
My "to-do" list for today (after a trip to the Dentist) includes taking the last loads from my garage to the storage unit I've rented locally.  I might be able to actually use my garage for something after today.  It's just a small one car garage but it connects to the patch cave so that makes it useful space.

Yours in Scouting,

Make plans now to attend the return of a tradition that's been missing for too long - the Charlotte TOR.  I'm helping organize the show as a fundraiser for Pack 33 at Sardis Presbyterian Church in Charlotte.  We couldn't have a more supportive host.  The church just celebrated 75 years of Scouting including sponsoring two troops and a pack.  The show is being held in the 8,000+ square foot fellowship hall.  We have ample parking and many amenities in this part of Charlotte.
