Today I am renting a 15' box truck from Uhaul so I can make a lap through the eastern carolinas tomorrow to clean out my antique mall booths. I'm not quite sure how I'm going to pull this off but in a single day I hope to break down and pack my booths in Florence, SC and Lumberton, NC all before 5:30 PM when the last one closes. The good news is that I've got a good spot ready to move into at the most popular mall in Charlotte, The Sleepy Poet.

If anybody wants to help me with some boxes Monday in Florence, SC especially send me an email. :) Luckily I won't have to retag all the books in the new spot because I am able to keep the same vendor ID with luck. However I will be using some new computer labels to retag all the uniform parts and miscellaneous stuff. That's my job all day Tuesday and if needed Wednesday. So if you don't see me hanging out on Facebook over the next few days you will understand why.
Essentially my new strategy is to use the booth as a clearance center. I probably have upwards of 200 uniform parts, hundreds of books, hatchets and other stuff that is hard to ship. So I'll mark it down cheap there and run my own vintage Boy Scout store getting my inventory under control.
I will be bringing the most popular piece of my Florence store with me - the Dollar Box! I have a huge tub of $1 patches that you can dig through just like at a TOR and this has been my best seller by far. Sure it doesn't pay the rent but I am pretty sure it becomes a destination for my repeat shoppers.
Well tonight is the moment of truth. I've got all the
PA collection auctions ending in the wee hours including the t-shirts and all the paper items. You might want to set a few of those on your watch list just to see what the bidding does.

We also have a ton of Scouts in the Charlotte metro area and surrounding counties. Hopefully this new strategy will pay off and I won't have to keep renting storage space!
