While I'm driving 5 hours to Savannah this afternoon with the Girl Scouts I'm hoping that my phone will be cha-chinging with some eBay notifications thanks to a sale I'm running in my Patchblanket store. I've got over 8,000 items listed there and most are on sale this weekend.
Vintage eBay Boy Scout Auctions This Weekend
Can you sell an entire collection in one swing using a Facebook album? I've been playing with different strategies this week and one I'm trying out is selling a big
Kentucky Boy Scout collection as a whole piece. There are 54 pictures in the album and over 200 items in the collection. I'm taking offers so let me know if you are interested before it goes to eBay.
This week I've stuck to schedule about 75% of the time and have made progress on lots of patch projects. Each of my consignors got one entire day where I focused on listing only their items. I also started tackling my mountain of dupes from my home lodge in hopes of getting all those parakeets from
Santee 116 up for sale.
As a parent I volunteered to buy the food for the camping trip this weekend. So last nights 2+ hour trip to the grocery store to feed 32 people would be a familiar one for those of you that spent many weekends in the woods. The funniest comment I got from the troop leader last night was she said these girls really like bacon. So 9 pounds of bacon later we are ready to go.
I've got
84 first run auctions live on eBay right now. This week I also got a similar number of BIN items placed in the store. The goal is to have the store at 9,000 by the end of the month. That's going to take an average of 150 new items per week so I better keep up the pace picante!
Thankfully life is going to slow down after my third weekend in a row of camping with the Scouts. We are even done with youth soccer after this weekend so the rest of the month will be a breeze. I hope your slide into the summer is just as smooth.
