I can normally brag about the photography skill of people selling in the WWII category. Many sellers take great care in their listing. However, today I'd like to bang the gong show on a few sellers that failed the test.

I think that holding the camera straight when you are photographing a flat object is pretty much a given rule. However, if you click on the theater made "dumbo" patch below you will see that's not always the case. My second example is the big lot below - even if you go through all the pictures you are not going to find any decent close ups that tell you what's really there. That's just leaving bids and money on the table.
Lighting is key to taking a good photo for eBay. Surprise! not all the lights in your house give off a pleasant natural tone. The German jacket below is a $500 auction but look at the picture and read the description (is it even 1 sentence long?) Another selling leaving bids and money behind.
This final WWII block mostly contains examples of what you are supposed to do right. Click on the Highland Officer grouping below and you will see a seller that took the time to mount and properly display all the items.
Many of the readers know that I like patches so for this WWI block I was quick to include the lot below that is selling for almost $300 but doesn't end until Sunday.
This weekend I am going to be in the woods. Well actually sleeping in a cabin but enjoying a weekend with the Scouts out at the camp that I grew up going to. I've camped there more than 365 nights in my lifetime counting years on summer camp staff. There ought to be a t-shirt for that!
