Church Renewal Update
If you didn't to meet with our consultant, it's not too late to be heard.....
We had a great opportunity last weekend to meet and share with our first church consultant, Dr. William McKinney. Bill met with over 90 members and friends of our church and community to talk about where we are as well as our hopes and dreams for the church and town. Bill wants to remind you that if you did not get a chance to share your thoughts with him he can be emailed at billmckinneymass@gmail.com .
Additionally, the Renewal Team ( Larry Ashley , Tom Colby , Erik Ela, Marion Fodor , Helen Schall , Heather Williamson , and Dale Azevedo ) would appreciate any feedback you may have regarding your time with Bill. Feel free to email (click on their link), call, or catch any of them at coffee hour.
Over the next month we will hear back from Bill with his assessment of where we are as a church, along with his recommendations for the future. We will keep you abreast as we move forward.
For more information on the Renewal process, check out the church's website: http://www.bccucc.org/church-life/renewal/

Ongoing Collections
We're still collecting diapers in sizes 4 & 5 for the little boys of the two refugee families supported by Sts Matthew and Mark Episcopal Church. There's a collection bin in the back of Fellowship Hall.

There are bins in the narthex on the way up to the sanctuary for the collection of canned and dried goods for TAPIN. Check their website for a list of current needs.

Thank you for the Bibles: Riverside Congregational Church, UCC is very appreciative of the Bibles that we've been able to give them so far. They have an outreach ministry to those in need - holding a breakfast every week followed by a Bible Study - and give away many Bibles. We will continue to collect Bibles for this ministry - t here's a collection box on the table at the back of Fellowship Hall. Thank you.
UCC Disaster Relief - an ongoing need
Several weeks ago we filled buckets with cleaning supplies and sent them off for disaster relief in Texas following Hurricane Harvey. We also sent a check to ‘UCC Disasters Ministry – Emergency USA Fund’ with additional money that came in later. But we know, especially with the devastation in Puerto Rico from Hurricane Irma and Maria, that there will be much to be done for a long time to come. Find out what the UCC is doing and will continue to do with your help. Go to http://www.ucc.org/disaster_hurricane_2017_relief  You can click on GIVE to donate either electronically or by check. Thank you.
