How are you celebrating?

ACSO joins thousands of arts organizations and communities across the nation to celebrate National Arts and Humanities Month throughout the month of October!

"National Arts and Humanities Month gives our members a chance to celebrate the positive impact our orchestras have on their communities through the arts," said Mitch Menchaca, ACSO's executive director. "ACSO will dedicate October's California Concerts to recognize National Arts and Humanities Month. How will you celebrate?"

This month-long celebration was launched by Americans for the Arts 30 years ago as National Arts Week in honor of the twentieth anniversary of the National Endowment for the Arts.

Coming Soon in November!

ACSO is excited to launch new Professional Development and Discussion Forums.

These forums combine educational experiences with peer networking during an informative 45-60 minute workshop or roundtable at a low cost for attendees. They will also capture your ideas, thoughts, and opinions on how ACSO can better serve you, our membership, through a consultant-led discussion, part of a strategic planning process, which will help shape the future direction of the association.

ACSO will present four forums at locations spread around the state, including Irvine, Pasadena, San Luis Obispo, and Walnut Creek, and one online session for those who cannot attend an in-person convening.

Registration will open October 9. Learn more at www.acso.org/forums.
