Hiking Chauvarah
We are planning to hike the a loop to the Lost Dog Overlook and come back via the Ringtail trail in the McDowell Sonoran preserve on Sunday, Feb. 18th.

We will leave from the Lost Dog trailhead off of 124th Street north of Via Linda in Scottsdale at 8:15am.

The hike is approximately 4 miles and with moderate elevation. There is an option to hike to the Taliesin Overlook too which would add another mile.

Please let me know if you will be able to join us. I will send out more instructions to the people who let me know they are coming. Please let me know if you have any questions. Hope to see you next Sunday.

IN THE COMMUNITY
Jewish Family & Children’s Service is offering a new and expanded session of Creative Aging classes. Creative Aging is a national initiative based on studies showing that older adults live longer and better if they are actively involved in the Arts. The movement is aimed at fostering an understanding of the vital relationship between creative expression and quality of life for older adults. All classes are open to adults 60 or older. Registration fees vary. Registration is available on the JFCS website: www.jfcsaz.org/creativeaging
