Congregational Send Off for our Temple Solel Israel Travelers
this Shabbat Evening

Write Notes to be Placed in the Western Wall

Please come together this Friday (12/8) evening at 6:15 pm, to offer a blessing to Temple Solel’s Israel travelers (37 strong!) before they depart this Tuesday. As part of the send-off, members in attendance will be invited to write a blessing, a prayer or a hope to be placed in the Western Wall in the Old City of Jerusalem by our Solel ambassadors. Our Israel travelers are mindful of the recent tensions in Israel, and are in the best of hands with their tour company, ARZA/Da’at, working hand-in-hand with Israel’s security intelligence.

As Rabbi Linder adds, “God-willing, between the congregation’s prayers that we will carry in our hearts, your notes we will place in the Western Wall, and our very presence, we will bring a message of solidarity, hope and peace to all our brothers and sisters in Israel and the Holy Land.”

We regret to announce that the Wayne Stutzer Discusses the 2018 Economic Outlook event scheduled for this Sunday, December 10th
at 10:30 am has been cancelled .
We apologize for any inconvenience.
We have many items in our lost and found including men's and women's jewelry. If you think you may have lost something at the temple, please call the office with a brief description of the item. Thank you!

Be a Light Parlor Meeting Update
In response to our Be a Light Parlor Meeting initiative, we have a great group of facilitators who have been trained, and hosts who have volunteered their homes. We will begin setting up dates with our hosts. The most important thing now is populating our parlor meetings with Solel members. The purpose of these small parlor meetings is to get to know fellow members of Temple Solel, either for the first time or more deeply. By listening to one another, we will identify new initiatives to be engaged within Temple Solel and the greater community.  Curious, interested in attending a parlor meeting? Please email Rae Rader, [email protected] . It's a great experience - give it a try!
