Every day the building industry works hard to build fantastic homes. We get busy, and we don't always get a chance to step back and appreciate our work. But there is one event each year that makes us reflect on the wonderful job we do in building communities, and that's MAME.
September 14 will be the 43rd annual MAME Awards. The Major Achievement in Marketing Excellence gala brings together the whole building community to celebrate the accomplishments made over the past year. With almost 150 Product, Marketing & People entries and more than 100 Sales Achievement awards, MAME 43 will once again prove that there is no industry like ours.
The Sales and Marketing Council has been working diligently to make MAME a night we will all remember. A lot of planning and coordination goes into such a large event, and the SMC always ensures a good time!
While MAME is an important tradition for the building community, the evening is also a night of friends and laughs - our emcee, Cambi Brown from Good Day Sacramento will definitely bring laughs, topped off with an always unforgettable afterparty hosted by NEXT New Homes Group and Caliber Home Loans. So, let's get dressed up in our black and white formals, have a few drinks, and celebrate each other!
I look forward to seeing you all at the event, so make sure to get your tickets by August 31.

What is a space? And what makes it a place?
The Idea District will be asking the questions that will make you think about space and how we alter it. Be a part of innovative conversations by inserting your thoughts or just listening and observing. All while enjoying some good food and drinks and interesting and fun people. The Idea District is a safe place to voice opinions and perspectives.
The venue itself, The ONS LaunchPad, is an ongoing place making experiment meant to evolve as artists and placemakers collaborate with different community sectors to realize their combined vision.
The conversation will be facilitated by Tristan Osborn, Cobblestone Placemaking and will feature:
Ed Chandler, Loftgardens Landscape Architecture
James Roberts, TAYNER Tiny House Architecture
The Idea District is for everyone - young professionals, experienced professionals, students, and all those in between. We value input and perspectives from all! So, join us for the next Idea District for some thought provoking conversation and to just have a good time.
Many thanks to our generous Annual Sponsors who make the Idea District possible.
