Learning Academy tonight!
Wednesdays, Jan. 31 & Feb. 7; 6:30pm
Sheridan’s Winter Learning Academy is a great way for adults to make a three week commitment to grow in faith and knowledge through an Adult Education class. Each class is as unique in its presenter and activities as it is in topic. Adults may choose from:

  • Gospel As Story
  • Singing through the Scriptures
  • Honoring our Neighbor’s Faith
  • Jesus Walks Among Us: Stories of Service to the Poor
  • What Does it Mean to be Lutheran?
  • Parenting Forum
Parenting Forum
Wednesdays, Jan. 31 & Feb. 7; 6:30pm
No matter the age or stage, we always wonder if we are doing the right things for our kids, guiding them in the right direction. Just when we think we may be doing okay at any point, they grow into another stage that leaves us questioning ourselves. This conversational small group-style class will allow participants to address these questions and concerns with other parents at similar stages of parenting.
Facilitated by Deacon Kathy Paisley.
This Weekend
Open Mic Night
Fri., Feb. 2; 7pm; Room 316
Come and share your talents - singing, instrumental playing, dancing, poetry or acting - while enjoying coffee, smoothies and snacks from the Connections Café.

This is a night of fellowship and fun as we transform our Connections Café area into an open mic venue. Sign up when you arrive; all ages are welcome! Email Molly Schmit with any questions!
Souper Bowl of Caring
Sat., Feb. 3 & Sun., Feb. 4; following each worship service
Support Sheridan’s hunger ministries through the Souper Bowl of Caring. By giving an offering you will be supporting our ongoing meal ministry work at Matt Talbot Kitchen and Outreach and Barnabas Community.

Through these ministries, thousands are fed in our community each year. Thank you for remembering those who need food and nourishment for life
Soup-Tacular
Sun., Feb. 4; 11am; Family Life Center
All are welcome to enjoy this event to help support Sheridan's youth heading to Houston for the ELCA Youth Gathering this summer. This is a great event full of fellowship.

Have a famous chili or soup recipe? Bring it to the Soup-tacular. Please prepare a standard or large size slow cooker full of your special chili or soup recipe for guests to enjoy. Don’t forget those side dishes.
