Vacation Bible School 2017

This summer St. Luke's and St. Paul's are teaming up once again to co-host a Vacation Bible School (VBS). The theme is Experience God's Gift of Water. VBS takes place at St. Luke's Church this year.

In the Bible, Jesus recognizes water as a metaphor for spiritual replenishment and vitality: "Let anyone who is thirsty come to me, and let one who believes in me drink. As the scripture has said, 'Out of the believer's heart shall flow rivers of living water'" (John 7:37-39). Read more

Vacation Bible School Update

Vacation Bible School is back, June 20-23!

We love that we can charge only $20/child for this wonderful experience. But in order to do so, donations of any of the following would be wonderful:
  • Healthy snacks: fresh fruit, cheese sticks, crackers, yogurt cups etc.
  • Ice cream for the last day celebration
  • Or gift cards to grocery stores, if you'd rather not shop yourself

We also need:

  • Empty, rinsed milk/water gallon plastic bottles (we need a total of 40, which is the amount of water used in the average shower)
  • Buckets of all shapes and sizes, to carry water on our heads (you'll get them back if you put your name on them).
Like Celtic Music?

The 10am Sunday worship service in July and August will be a Celtic Summer Service.

We are looking for interested singers and musicians to help make this a beautiful and meaningful service. Contact Andrew if you would like to learn more.

Caring in Times of Grief

When a family plans a memorial service or reception at St. Luke's, the Funeral Reception Guild members create an opportunity for family and friends to gather together in love and fellowship, by providing the food, hospitality and prayerful presence after the service.

If you would like to join in this deeply meaningful ministry, please contact Debbie Vessey.
