EAC Network was excited to participate for the first time in the Generosity Long Island 5k Run/Walk at Eisenhower Park. Many staff, Board Members, friends, and family participated by raising a minimum of $200 and walking in the race. EAC Network was also lucky enough to win an additional $250 from the Wheel of Donations!

In the Halloween Spirit
We hope you all had a happy and safe Halloween! Our team members across all of our programs had a fun time showing their Halloween spirit! Pictured here are staff from our 60 Plant Avenue, Hauppauge location, which houses programs like Alternatives for Youth (AFY), Chance to Advance , and Community Service .
EAC Network  is thrilled to announce that long-time volunteer, Kevin P. Murphy, has joined our Board of Directors. For over 20 years Mr. Murphy has volunteered with our  Long Island Dispute Resolution Centers  (LIDRC) program, which provides conflict resolution interventions that help individuals, families, businesses, and the community at large to resolve a wide range of disputes. As a volunteer mediator, he helps both families and community members resolve disputes. Read more.
M.A.C. Cosmetics Volunteers Restock Food Pantry
For yet another volunteer day, MAC Cosmetics volunteers restocked and organized the food pantry for our Nutrition Education & Food Services program (NEFS), which improves the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWA) through nutrition education and healthy food via a food pantry and home-delivered meals. NEFS operates the only food pantry in Nassau County that specifically caters to people living with HIV/AIDS.
Get to know our staff member, Miriam David, in our Staff Spotlight! Miriam is a Case Manager at Staten Island TASC . "My first successful client bought me so much joy. Her time while at TASC was one I’ll never forget. She would always come in with a smile on her face and worked really hard to get her life together. Watching her complete the program was such a great feeling because it reassured me that what I am doing is well worth it." Read more.
Our Long Island Dispute Resolution Centers (LIDRC), which provides conflict resolution interventions to help individuals, families, businesses, and the community-at-large resolve a wide range of disputes, recently recognized twenty students at East Broadway Elementary School for their dedication and hard work for successfully completing a 16-hour Peer Mediation Training. Cohalan Cares for Kids is an annual fundraiser hosted by the Suffolk County Bar Association that raises funds for our Suffolk County Children's Center at Cohalan Court . The Children’s Center provides a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children while their parents or guardians attend to court business and promotes literacy by giving every child a book to take home each time they attend the Children’s Center – whether it’s once or 100 times.

This year's event will honor Sarah Jane LaCova, Executive Director of the Suffolk County Bar Association.

Attendees will enjoy live music, prizes, food, wine, and more!

Tickets are $60 or two for $100; law student tickets are $40.

Sponsorships are also available, ranging from just $150-$1,500.
