Weekly Minyans
Sundays, 9AM 
Mondays, 6:45 AM, followed by breakfast & The Talmud with Rabbi Zelony. 
The Talmud is the foundational text upon which all modern forms of Judaism stand. Come explore, spar with, and make meaning of this sacred book. Open to all learners. Hebrew text is provided but class discussions will be based on English translation. Every Monday after minyan (time will vary on holidays).

WALKING WITH GOD

What does Judaism have to say about God? What do you believe about God? How has your understanding of God developed over the course of your life? Do these sound like questions you'd like to explore? God can be elusive. This class will give you ideas and language to articulate some of the beliefs you have or want to have about the Divine. Led by Rabbi Zelony. $18 members / $36 non-members. INTRO TO JUDAISM

Led by Rabbi Kushnick, Rabbi Roffman, and Rabbi Zelony, this cooperative-effort class between Beth Torah, Shearith Israel, and Anshai Torah, is designed for you to learn basics of Jewish theology, holidays, liturgy, Israel, life cycle, and history. Class fee $180. Click here to register

iENGAGE

$36 members/$150 non-members. This series grapples with the different ideas and values that shape the meaning of modern Israel, Zionism, and Jewish identity today. Together we will engage in a new values-based discourse about Israel, including topics such as nationhood, land, sovereignty, Jerusalem, occupation, and moral red lines. Click here to register

THE ISRAELI SOLIDERS: STAND WITH US 
28 October, Saturday, 12:45 to 2PM (Sanctuary) 
Two Israeli Soldiers will come and make a brief statement during Saturday morning services and then after the Kiddush lunch we will adjourn to the sanctuary to hear them speak followed with a Q&A. This was a wonderful, meaningful, informative, and interesting program last year and we are looking forward to meeting two different soldiers with their own stories.

THIRD ANNUAL DALLAS KOSHER BBQ

Join us at Sunnyland Furniture as teams from around the US compete in a family-friendly event. Free admission, live music, kids zone, cooking demonstration, silent auction, and food available for purchase. Plenty of parking in back. Our Congregational Learning Center (CLC) is collecting empty ink cartridges as a fundraiser. Collection boxes are located outside of the CLC office and in the front lobby. Cartridges should be in a Ziploc bag when dropped off.
