We're excited to announce that tomorrow we will be updating our ePetHealth home/login page and releasing a brand new feature allowing you to customize your text message appointment reminders!

Here is a Sneak Peek of the new look and features!  

The new ePetHealth.com home/login page will have the login fields along the top of the page that both you and your clients will use to login to ePetHealth as well as a link for your pet owners to create their ePetHealth pet owner portal account if this is their first time logging in. 
    First Time Logins

The first time login process has also been streamlined.  When they click the "pet owner create an account" link, they will be prompted to enter their email address.  If their email is found in your practice management software we will email them a link to complete their portal account registration and show them a message explaining this.  If it's not found we will show them a message explaining that they need to contact your practice to register their email address with you. 
Welcome Newsletter Templates

We have also updated all three of our standard welcome newsletter templates (all three of which begin with the word “Introducing”) to reflect the new login page and first time login processes. If you use one of our standard welcome newsletter templates for your welcome emails you’re all set and don’t need to do anything, your template will be updated automatically. If, however, you have created a custom welcome newsletter template or edited one of our standard templates then you will need to update your custom template to reflect the new login page and first time login process.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your local Technology Specialist or our ePetHealth Support Team for help with updating your designated welcome newsletter template. And, remember, in order for welcome emails to be sent automatically you must have them enabled - setting a template in the 'Welcome Newsletter Template' dropdown on the Newsletters page is not enough. To enable welcome emails to be sent automatically to all newly entered email addresses go to the My Practice menu > General Settings and check the 'Enable Welcome Newsletters' option in the middle of the page.
     Custom Appointment Reminder Texts

Verbiage on text message appointment reminders can now be customized! Now you can send those surgery appointment reminder texts with NPO instructions and without the appointment time! You can create custom verbiage for each of your Appointment Type Groups. Simply “Enable Text Customization” on the Client Communication > Appointment Reminders page in your Provider Portal and set your text, including any pertinent Insert Values like Pet Name, Practice Phone or Appointment Date or time. Character limit for custom text is 160 characters.
