Accounting and Admin Assistant - maternity leave contract
Join our fun and dynamic not-for-profit in a diverse role, dealing with members, tenants and staff. Duties will include preparing bank deposits, generating invoices, recording revenue from our member and programs database, and donor fundraising database, into our accounting software, preparing bank and revenue reconciliations, following up outstanding accounts receivable, and various other administrative duties such as fundraising events administration and grant administration. This person performs these duties for 2 related organizations.

Accounting fundamentals and knowledge of accounting software is a prerequisite. Experience with member and registration software, fundraising software or point of sale software is an asset.

This is a full-time maternity leave contract position and the successful candidate will report to the Director of Finance. The ideal start date would be November 27th, 2017, in order to facilitate training.
