Worthington Christian Church
Volume 11, Issue 31 | August 8, 2018
Connect Class is Aug. 26
Our Connect Class, led by Outreach Minister Jay Scott, will answer your questions about faith, baptism, church membership and our vision for WCC. We offer a relaxed atmosphere that allows for honest questions while we take a closer look at what we believe and how we respond to those beliefs. All are welcome to attend!

Join us on Sunday, August 26 from 9:45 AM to Noon. Families with young children should utilize our Children’s Ministry during the 9:45 and 11:00 AM worship hours. Family lunch to follow.

If you, or someone you love, is hurting, please encourage them to attend our next 13-week semester of DivorceCare.

Beginning Wednesday, August 15, we will meet in rm. 137 from 6:45 to 8:30 PM here at WCC. DivorceCare for Kids (for children ages 5-12) will also meet at the same time right next door in rm. 135.

DivorceCare Facilitators Needed
Do you have a heart for ministering to women facing separation or divorce? If so, we need you.

Our DivorceCare team is seeking one or two women to help facilitate small group discussions in our upcoming classes, starting August 15. Please contact Susan Gunlock or Phil Lampe if interested to learn more.
Summertime With God
Join us for our next Women's Ministry Breakfast on Saturday, August 25 at 9:00 AM. 'Divine Design: Understanding Your Spiritual Gifts' will be our theme for the morning and Pat Krebs will be our special guest speaker. Her remarks will center on Nehemiah of the Old Testament and the rebuilding of the Jerusalem wall. She will encourage each of us to find our place on the wall. We all have gifts/talents from God — we just need to learn to use them.

The cost is $5/person; guests are FREE so be sure to bring a friend! (Teens are welcome to attend.)
