ANNOUNCEMENTS

Please join the Alliance on Wednesday, December 6 at 11:30 am for its annual Holiday Luncheon. The menu will include casseroles and salads, mulled cider, coffee and tea with cake for dessert. Alex Gordon will once again provide background music and accompany us in a sing-along that will include Christmas Carols and other seasonal songs. This is a wonderful way to get the holiday season off to a good start. We look forward to having you with us.

Thanks to everyone who agreed to provide holiday gifts for foster children. Please remember that we are collecting the gifts Sunday, December 10 between 9:00 and 11:00 am in the parish hall. If you will not be in church that day, please contact Betsy Gordon at 781-659-7705 or via email so arrangements can be made to be sure Betsy has the gifts by the morning of December 10.

Mini Session planning is underway and we need your help! Do you have a talent or interest you would like to share with the children of First Parish? Sessions run from January 14 to February 18 (6 weeks total). You don’t need to be a teacher, artisan, or professional anything! Ideas are limitless. Please see Jessie Slade for more info or contact her via email.

Christmas Eve poinsettias, which will decorate our Meeting House, can be ordered during Sunday Coffee Hours on December 3 and December 10 for our Christmas Eve services. Please see Marie Miller to order red, pink, or white poinsettia plants, which you may take home after the 7:30 Christmas Eve service. The cost of each poinsettia plant is $6. Checks (made payable to First Parish of Norwell) or cash, will be gratefully accepted as payment.

The James Library and Center for the Arts offers a variety of events- concerts, art exhibits, lectures and more. To learn more, please contact them at 781.659.7100 or visit their website.
