Oakwood Farms

Reviews have started coming in about the fresh produce being grown at Oakwood Farms. One individual described the greens as "crazy good!"

A variety of greens, turnips and radishes are the first produce that is being sold on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Produce is picked fresh when you arrive at Burrell Hall between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Oakwood Farms will offer seminars on "How to Grow Your Garden," beginning in June, 2017. Each participant who attends all four sections will receive a Garden Education Certificate. The classes are $30 each, or $100 for all four classes. Stay tuned for more information.

There's still time to order an Edible Arrangement for Mother's Day
More Faces of Oakwood

We have received so many positive responses to the "120 Faces of Oakwood" issue of the Oakwood magazine, that we want to continue recognizing the influence that our fellow Oakwoodites exerted while they were here on campus, or the impact they have made in the world after leaving our institution.

We are asking you for nominations of individuals who were either influential here at Oakwood - in the classroom, at church, in the dormitory, on the basketball court, etc. -- or an individual who has positively influenced your life, or has transformed lives through his/her service following their time at the Oaks.

We need from you the person's name, and the reason(s) for the nomination - in 90 words or less**. Preferably, please list the year the person graduated, or the time he or she attended. We also need a high resolution photo (300 dpi or higher).

Please email the information and photo to: [email protected] -- OR mail to:
